Welcome!
Thank you for joining our community space.
We are delighted to be bringing Restart Parties back to Leytonstone, courtesy of support from Waltham Forest Council. We will be at the Repair Cafe alongside Traid (repairing clothes) and Dr Bike - so plenty of fixing going on.
Restart helps you learn how to fix and take back control of your electricals: Slow or damaged laptops, smartphones, radios, kettles and many of your other favourite devices can often be put right so "don't despair, just repair". We'd also welcome anyone who just wants to come and learn more about us, especially potential volunteers!
Otherwise, bring your misbehaving electronics as well as:
- Your enthusiasm to collaboratively troubleshoot and fix (no experience necessary, we're not repair professionals either!)
- Your charger! It's hard to diagnose a flat phones/laptops
You take responsibility for your own gadget and data, so please back it up to be safe If you have something to be fixed please come by 1.00pm so there is time to work on it.
